Dr. Savabi attended IUPUI as an undergraduate student. He majored in Engineering, while also completing pre-dental courses & shadowing dentists. He was honored as the Top Male Student of IUPUI in 2007.
Dr. Savabi ultimately decided to attend the IU School of Dentistry. He fell in love with all aspects of dentistry- the fine detail in each procedure, the advanced technology of the field, and the patient relationships he could not get in engineering.
During his final year of dental school, Dr. Savabi was elected as an Albert Shweitzer Fellow in his efforts to start the IU Dental School Student Outreach Center. The Student Outreach Center is a free dental center where dental students provide care to patients on Saturdays. He continues to volunteer as a faculty mentor at the center.
After graduating in 2012, Dr. Savabi remains committed to furthering his education to provide the best comprehensive dentistry. He continues to take several courses on advanced dental techniques, including:
Dr. Savabi is a native of West Lafayette. He moved to Indianapolis for college in 2003. One year after graduating dental school, Dr. Savabi met his wife, Nadia, who is a Nurse Practitioner.
They married in 2016 and now have three kids – Mila, Luca and Yara. Mila loves soccer, but only if her dad is the coach. Luca loves anything his big sister loves, especially “Mi-Mo” aka Mickey Mouse. The newest addition, Yara, likes being held and walked around for hours upon hours. Dr. Savabi and his wife love to travel and hope to continue to explore the world with their kids! The glue that holds the family together is their French Bulldog, Jacques, who you can see around the office when he decides he needs cuddles from strangers.
